I am still getting notifications for texts that say "Filtered by Lifeguard" iOS 18

This article describes additional configuration options to reduce notifications around filtered text messages

iOS 18

  1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone
    ​

  2. Use the search bar at the top & search for "messages"

  3. Click on the Messages app to go into Settings for Messages

  4. Click on "Notifications"

  5. Scroll to the bottom and click on "Customize Notifications"
    ​

  6. The "Allow Notifications" section is the location where you can control what type of text messages you will get notified for

    1. Unknown Senders - toggle off so no unknown numbers will send you a notification

    2. Transactions - toggle off so no text messages identified as transaction will send you a notification

    3. Promotions - toggle off so no text messages identified as advertisements/promotion will send you a notification

Please note, this is just turning off the notifications for these messages. You will always be able to find a message by clicking the "< Filters" from your messages app and then you will see the folders
