I am still getting notifications for texts that say "Filtered by Lifeguard" iOS 26

This article describes additional configuration options to reduce notifications around filtered text messages

iOS 26

  1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone

  2. Use the search bar at the bottom and search for "messages"

  3. Click on the Messages app to go into Settings for Messages

  4. Scroll down to the "Unknown Senders" section
    ​

  5. Click on the "Allow Notifications" row

  6. Here you have toggles for each type of message and which one to allow notifications from. Add or remove as you desire for preferred notification type
    ​

Please note, this is just turning off the notifications for these messages. You will always be able to find a message by clicking the three lines in the top right from your messages app and then you will see the folders
